Day 6: A Song That Reminds You of Somewhere
“Golden” by Jill Scott
As much as I love Scott’s song, I can never fully appreciate it—for good reason. I first heard this song in Boston when a young, beautiful woman performed it for us on a whim. Ever since then, this song has always signified spontaneity, creativity, and just plain happiness. Its songs like this one that bring me back to wonderful places and make me realize why I love music so much.
