Day 19: A Song from One of Your Favorite Albums
“Cohen’s Masterpiece” by Garry Schyman
Bioshock was the first game that I realized could push past the boundaries of traditional video games. Not only was the shooter fun and frightening, it offered intriguing ideas that questioned our forms of government and pushed the boundaries of science and art. In addition, the game boasted one of the most beautiful scores I’ve heard in a video game to date. With its dark, intense piano solo, “Cohen’s Masterpiece” is a gem on the album. Take a listen.
