Day 22: A Song That You Listen to When You’re Sad
“The Only One” by Evanescence
This song got me through a lot of rough spots during my early high school years when I began seeing the world differently than I was “supposed” to. Differences in opinion between me and those around me created immense friction on a day-to-day basis, and it took its toll on me. “The Only One” reminds me that everything is going to be okay. Although I may feel alone in my ideals right now, I should know that there are others out there like me.
