Day 30: Your Favorite Song this Time Last Year

This time last year, I was just learning how to play viola for my high school’s orchestra. In order to prepare for solo and ensemble competition, I had already picked out my piece, and began practicing. Although I did not know initially, the piece was a 1 (meaning, compared to others, it was more difficult). In my ignorance, I pushed on, playing a level 1 piece on an instrument I had only picked up for a few months. Although it was turning out nice, I never did take it to competition. Other plans popped up, and it never worked out. However, I still think that the song is beautiful. Hopefully I can pick up the viola and try playing this again.
